Portable Packet Trial Run with Outpost software 9/17/2018
Over the past several weeks, I have had a blast with packet radio. I remember the days of phone line bbs's (bulletin board systems) and when I got into ham radio I had found I missed the good ole days of packet bbs's. Well, I did not let that keep me away. Recently I have set up a bbs running BPQ software in my home for local hams to use. This has given several of us the chance to re-learn, or in my case, learn for the first time all about packet radio.
Today, I went out to test and film for Youtube a small portable packet station for use around town and/or in emergencies. Hope ya'll enjoy.
